My Breakfast Special Green Smoothie Bowl

brownceylonesefoodjournal, February 10, 2023March 27, 2023

An easy recipe with 3 main ingredients and done in minutes..

Serving Size – 2

Prep Time – 10 mins

Green smoothies are perfect for any season. They are rich in nutrition, fulfilling and very easy to make. You can mix and match your smoothie depending on what you have in your fridge or your mood. This green smoothie bowl is my absolute favourite and I like to garnish it with my homemade granola.

Ingredients :

  • 1 Ripe avocado, medium size
  • 1 Ripe banana, medium size
  • 1 Cup spinach
  • 2 Brazil nuts
  • 1 Tablespoon Flax seeds
  • 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon Spirulina powder (Optional)

Let’s blend :

  1. Put avocado, banana, spinach, brazil nuts, flax seeds, spirulina powder and 1 cup cold water in a blender jar.
  2. Blend it in high speed, until you get a smooth texture.
  3. Pour it into a bowl and enjoy!!

Tips for you:

  • You can garnish this with your favourite fruits, granola, toasted coconut or with chia seeds.
  • If you’re trying Spirulina powder for the first time, do some research before hand and make sure to start with a small quantity (1/4 or 1/2 Teaspoon) as your body might needs time to adjust to new flavours.
